Understanding what is a Parking Lot
A parking lot is a virtual place where calls can be parked. It's usually a place to put calls on hold so later someone will picks them up.
By default, LinkedIP enables phone systems with at least 20 unique parking lots numbered from 700 up to 720.
Parking lot Presence on physical phones
Now, your phone may have been configured to observe the status or "presence" of some of those parking lots. Typically Parking Lot 701 and Parking Lot 702 are added to your phone by default. However this does not mean your system is limited to just 2 parking lots. Although your phone may have not physical buttons to monitor all parking lots available you may use them by simply transferring calls to their associated extensions.
Sidecars as add-on for your phone
If you think your activity requires to monitor more than 2 parking lots you may request an optional sidecar for your phone. A sidecar is a complementary device that lets you monitor additional extensions. You may need a particular phone model to be able to install a sidecar.
