How to Set the Caller ID for My Company's Extensions

Hi,

Setting the caller ID in an extension is to show the desired number to the person in the other line and it is very easy to do.

First, go to the portal at https://pbx.linkedip.com then login with your credentials. If you do not have credentials yet request them at support@linkedip.com 

Once you have logged in, go to Configuration> Extensions

Scroll down until finding the "Outbound Calls" section 

In this section you will set:

External CID Number: This refers to the number that will show the extension when calling out. This one can be chosen by clicking the down arrow or entered manually by clicking the "Edit" button next to the down arrow Ex: 13054242400

External CID Name: The Name to be Shown along with the number Ex: LinkedIP LLC

Finally scroll down to the bottom and click on the "Save" button to apply the changes.
