Hi there!
If you have to go out from your office but you want to receive calls on your mobile you should follow the steps below:
1. Go to pbx.linkedip.com and login with your credentials. If you don't know your credentials please send us a email to support@linkedip.com:
- URL: pbx.linkedip.com
- username: provided by LinkedIP
- Password: provided by LinkedIP
2. Go to Configuration/Custom Destination to add your mobile number or area code number.
3. Then go to New Custom Destination, in the right side of your screen.
4. You will get this window (see image below). In the 'Type' field you should select 'Forward call to'
you will get his (see image below):
Name, Phone number and Dial timeout are mandatory.
Name: you should add the name of mobile's owner.
Dial timeout: in seconds, generally twenty nine (29).
Phone: USA 10 digits phone number.
5. Finally the set up should look like this (this is an example):
Click on 'Save'.
6. Once you set up the Custom Destination you should go to Configuration/DIDs and select the number whose incoming calls you want forward to your cell phone.
7. Then go to 'Unconditional Forward' and clic on the down arrow, see the image below:
Now type 'Forward call to' in the text field and select the Custom Destination that you created in the step five (5).
8. Once you set up the Custom Destination you should Go to Configuration/Feature Codes
9. Then go to New Feature, in the right side of your screen.
10. You will get the following window (see image below).
Code: You should define two codes for each line, a code to enable call forwarding and other code to disable call forwarding. For example, if you want define *21 to Enable call forwarding, then you should type *21 in the 'Code' field. If you want define *22 to Disable call forwarding, then you should type *22 in the 'Code' field. IMPORTANT: the codes must be differents.
Destination: Afterthat, you should choose the Destination. If the code is for Enable call forwarding, you should type 'Enable Unconditional' and select the line whose incoming calls you want forward to your cell phone. If the code is for Disable call forwarding, you should type 'Disable Unconditional' and select the same line. Remember, each line should have two codes (Enable and Disable).
Comment: you can add a comment to remember what the code do.
Finally, the set up should look like this:
Enable code:
Clic on 'Save'
Disable code:
Clic on 'Save'
11. Now you can dial the Enable code (defined for you) from your office phone, wait for the busy ring and then hang up. Then do a test to confirm that the forward works.
For disable the forward, please dial Disable code(defined for you) from your office phone, wait for the busy ring and hang up. Then do a test to confirm that you receive calls in your office phone again.
