Hi,
To create a new DID in the DID list of the Cloud Telephony admin Portal, the steps below need to be followed:
1. Go to https://pbx.linkedip.com and sign in with your credentials. If you do not have username and password yet assigned please request them at support@linkedip.com.
2. Go to Configuration> DIDs
3. Once in the DIDs section, click on the "New DID" button in the suoerior right side if the DID view is a List
or in the + icon in the left inferior side of the screen if the DID view is jqGrid
4. Once there, the DID settings are divided into sections which makes easier to know what we need to set for the voice.
This is what will be shown and the necessary editable fields to set the voice are defined as follows:
Number: Has three fields Country code, Area code, Number
Comment: Optional field for the name or description.
Branch: Optional
Department: Optional
Unconditional forward: This is to set an unconditional call forwarding for all incoming calls, it is active if the square next to it is checked. The custom destination can be chosen from the list displayable by clicking the down arrow.
Destination: The destination for the incoming calls for the DID. This could be a Queue, an extension, a condition, an IVR, etc.
Once you have entered the desired information in the fields above, scroll down and click on save.
