Here is a very easy and fast way to create a recording through a phone call:
Log in to the Portal http://pbx.linkedip.com/ with your login credentials.
In the PBX Portal go to Settings > Media Files > New Media File (*the "New Media File" button is next to the search bar)
1. Enter a name and a description.
2. In the field "Record dialing an extension or external number ..." chose an extension from the list or type an external number to be called.
3. For "Media file creation:" choose "Dynamically during the call"
4. At the end, choose any WAV format and click on Dial. You should immediately receive a call on the extension or external number you entered before; then you simply have to follow the instructions you will hear.
After finishing the call the recording will show in the portal and will be available and ready to use.
