Requirements:
- A GXP140x/160x series phone connected to your local network.
- A computer connected to the local network.
- Phone credentials supplied by our support team or your Account Manager.
- A provisioning URL supplied by your admin or our support team.
- A provisioned template configuration for your specific phone.
Basic Procedure:
1. Identify the IP address of your phone by hitting the Menu button on the keyboard. Navigate to Status > Network Status > IpV4. Keep this IP address.
2. Make sure your computer is connected to the same network. Open your browser and on the URL type this address: http://x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the exact IP address you obtained from the previous step.
3. Once the login screen is observed please enter the required credentials. If the phone is new, the username and password most likely are: admin .
4. Locate the top menu bar. Navigate to Maintenance > Upgrade and Provisioning:
5. Scroll down till you see Config section. Replace Config Server Path with the Provisioning URL supplied by your admin or our support team, as show below. IF YOU DONT HAVE A PROVISIONING URL PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ADMIN OR OUR SUPPORT TEAM.
6. Scroll down and click on Save and Apply
7. Wait about 2 or 3 minutes and your phone should register and become online. You will see on screen a filled black dot that suggests phone is online. Also you should see an updated date and time.
