What’s about?
Bitcally is a Chrome extension that enables your contact center agents to easily click and dial any phone number within the Google Chrome browser.
User-friendly and efficient, Bitcally requires only a simple installation. Once installed, agents can dial any phone number displayed in their browser and manage the call via WebRTC or Phonebar.
Requirements
The click to dial via Chrome browser works with Chrome Extension Bitcally.

Configuration
- After you have installed the extension, click on the Bitcally icon on your Chrome browser bar
.
- After that, the dialpad will appear.
- Click on the “settings” icon

- Configure the options, that depends if you are using the Phonebar or the WebRTC.
Are you using the Phonebar?
- Select the Device: Phonebar
- Choose the Phonebar Version between Motion and Shuttle, according to the XCALLY product you are using
- Prefix: insert any prefix you want to add to all the numbers dialed (if any)

Remote Phonebar Port: check this parameter on the Agent configuration
Remember to enable Remote Control for the Agent
Are you using the WebRTC?
- Select the Device: WebRTC
- Insert the information related to the XCALLY server and agent: URL, Agent ID, Agent Username and Password
- Prefix: insert any prefix you want to add to all the numbers dialed (if any)
How it works
After Bitcally is properly configured, you can start a call following the below steps:
- select a telephone number on a web page, using Chrome as browser
- click with right button -> click “Call number”
- the number will be displayed in the Bitcally dialpad
- verify the number is correct and click on Call:
The call starts and can be managed by the agent via Phonebar or WebRTC according to the settings.
